Apart from Wrigley Field, another old ballpark that you may not know about could be Shea Stadium, which was home to the New York Yankees until 1983. Shea Stadium is a beautiful park, even though it isn't the stadium for home runs. However, it is in a wonderful spot, located right next to New York City, and is located near major bus routes and highways. If you're a fan of going to a ballgame and you're looking for a great place to go, don't skip out on Shea Stadium, which can make you feel as if you've stepped back in time. Its Yankee Stadium concourses also hold an eatery which serves great food.

If you're not interested in old ballparks, and don't want to spend a lot of money to see an old-fashioned baseball experience it is worth considering visiting an updated park. There are a variety of ballparks on the market today, starting from Busch Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida, to Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas. There are some newer ballparks that are smaller than those that were constructed in the back, but that shouldn't need to be a factor if you're looking to enjoy old-fashioned baseball. You can put your car in an unassuming diamond-shaped park within San Diego, which has many great spots for your family and you to gather. With a great family-friendly section situated between the benches, your children will never be out of space to play.

These ballparks were not accessible to the public since I was a child and I'm aware of how thrilling they can be. Fans of baseball can arrive early for the opening few games, then head back home to catch the remainder of the game and even catch some sports on television when you're there. At night you can take in an even bigger baseball field, complete with the lighting you require to have a relaxing sleep. If it's light outside it's a great time to sit in the sun with a refreshing drink and enjoy the game.
