AMOBI OKOYE

The Houston Texans drafted Amobi Okoye in the first round 2007 NFL draft. He is still the youngest player ever to be drafted in the NFL Draft, at 19 years 10 months and 18 days.

He was born in Nigeria on June 10, 1987. He is currently an unrestricted agent and a Nigerian-American defense player of American football.

He signed almost a year later with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on April 7, 2012. Okoye signed a one year contract with the Buccaneers on September 3, 2012. He was released on November 27, 2012. Okoye was released on November 27, 2012. He was then brought back on May 12.

2. THE YOUNGEST NFL PLAYER RECENTLY

Noah Igbinoghene (21 years old) is the youngest NFL player.

Auburn's Igbinoghene was Auburn's college football player from 2017 to 2019. In his first year, he was a wide receiver. But he switched to fullback in time for his sophomore season. That's when he got his start.

Tremaine Edmunds, a 19-year-old, was drafted by Bills in the first round 2018 draft. At 19 years, 11 months and 24 days old, he was the second-youngest NFL player to be drafted. He is just behind Amobi Okoye. He was the second-youngest NFL football player to ever play, after he fought against the Ravens wearing a Bills jersey. He became the youngest NFL player to ever record an interception at the age of 20. He made this play in his 14th week against the Jets.

JUJU SMITHSCHUSTER, 20 YEARS OF AGE - DRAFTED IN 2017

Juju Smith-Schuster has many age-related NFL records. Juju Smith-Schuster is the youngest player to reach 2,500 career receiving yardage. He's also the first player to score at least two offensive touchdowns.

He is only 23 years old and already holds several Steelers franchise records. Schuster was drafted in 2017 and has compiled a stellar NFL resume, including 18 TD's at age 23 and nearly 3,000 receiving yards.
